NEW YORK, Dec 3, 2002 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The world famous Apollo Theater celebrates the holiday season with a special performance by Apollo legends and Motown Records classic r&b and soul vocal group, the TEMPTATIONS. These soulful crooners will grace the stage on Friday, December 20. The show begins at 8:00 pm. Headed by original group member Otis Williams, the TEMPTATIONS (Ron Tyson, Terry Weeks, Barrington Henderson and Harry McGilberry, Jr.) will perform selections from their extensive song book of perennial favorites including, "My Girl," "Papa Was a Rolling Stone," and "Treat Her Like A Lady." The group will also perform selections from their platinum-plus selling album, PHOENIX RISING, the Grammy Award winning, EAR RESISTIBLE, and their current Motown release, AWESOME. In keeping with the holiday season, the soul stirring Temptations will also perform Christmas classics, including the crowd pleaser, "Silent Night." This is probably either an obvious yes or an obvious no, but I've always wondered and never really paid much attention, but in the last scene of the Temptations are they performing to My Girl in the Apollo theater? I guess cuz of the big red curtains.

Man I'll tell you if they do a TEMPTATIONS SHOW AT THE APOLLO like the Clasic 5 used to do, then we shoud be cooking wit fish grease! Back in the day you showed your natural a** when you played the Apollo. That would be a show to see. No ff night with the voices or the dancing. Come to do work!

Now, I'm in a line of work that is pretty active and I often miss lunch so I don't do it anymore, but before, I did this diet and lost about 15 pounds. (Not all at once of course, about five pounds at a time.)
