Oh. I would have to download that AOL chat room first ... so I guess, I'll just wait and see. I don't like the music though ;D LOL.. I Like it... chances are this one is similar to how I used to do it.. the DJs are just like you and I ..sitting in front of their home PC.. they have loaded all the things they need to load... and have tons of music.. a mic... ( ours. was all volunteer we even made our own commercials.. got the whole community involved... was lots of fun.. and the WHOLE WOLRD can hear you.. chit chatting.. playing music.. dong your line recs.. out to everyone..saying whos all in the house.. etc... its actually a lot of fun.. but ya gotta be real dedicated.. cuz if ya dont show up online.. for your timeslot.. then hopefully someone will jump in.. and some like to take over for ya.. but most dont.. because you have to put a playlist together.. and at times..that can take alot of time..... |

ANna... I think Ojays were last night... from what Im guessing.. Aba is gonna do a couple?? few? sets of the Tempts... ( typically.. online sets are 5-7 songs.. then a line rec ( where the DJ is talking).. then 5-7 more songs.. and.. if ya have the knowledge.. ya can even make it so that.. you can call in.. and hear...... like.. if I was DJing.. you could call me.. and Id hit line rec.. and do something else.. and everyone listening.. in your chat room.. could hear you.. I pulled a few jokes on pple sometimes.. Id call them in the middle of the night... when I was DJing... and theyd be like... uhhh hellp.. Coey.. am I on air.. Dontyou know its 2 am here!! .. then they would shout out to everyone..... its alot of fun.... lot of work.. to get it set up.. but FUNNNN with a capital F!!

Idont know anything about this webradio owner.. or what their rules. are.. all the radios are different.. some get paid.. some dont.. some have registered commercials.. some make their own.. on their own PC, we had to make our own.. wed get little sound clips from the people in our chat prggie... sayit was getting close to someones bday... wed have everyone send in a little sound clicp.. which is VERY easily done on your own pc.. and just emailed.. then we would put them all together.. turn it into an MP3.. and have it play on your show.. soo youd have all your firneds that you talked to online.. all wishing you a happy bday. or singing.. whaterver.. and youd hear it just like a song.. on the net radio.. ( I really dont mean tosound like a know it all..but I do know a little bit about this subject.. bu then again.. all net radios are different.. . the same..but different.. ) *s*

..and sometimes the most difficult part is when one DJ stops his show.. and the next one coming up gets connected.. sometimes.. ..it being the internet.. the transition isnt smooth.. but.. thats what happens.. .. in some radios.. you have to press play.. again and again.. to finally get the next DJ... I dont know how this one works tho....
and if you go to that chat web site he talks about.. and type Hi.. its real possible.. the DJ will say your name..when he clicks to find out who all is in the room....
