"Miss Busy Body" is one of my favorites...
Yeah the album fooled me too! Couldn't believe it the first time I heard it, I got it a couple of years after it was released so I knew who the voice belonged too.
The Spinners did a track on John Edwards for their 1977 album "Yesterday, Today and Tommorow." Uncredited just like Ali-Ollie was...

I remember when I first heard "Yesterday, Today and Tommorow" I couldn't believe it. Sounded a little like Philippe too.
Hate to say it but that video of Barrington on "Stay" cracks me up. You couldn't tell him he didn't sing that song. Greatest lip-sync ever...

I never did get over Philippe leaving the Spinners LOL. My favorite on "YT&T" was probably "I'm Riding Your Shadow (Down To Love.) I never knew what it meant, great harmony though.

Since we've gotten a little bit on the Spinners, I'll get on it too. I remember the first time I heard 'Darling Stand By Me' by the Temptations with Otis doing the lead. The way the music and the background vocals sounded, it could've easily been a Spinners song. Just plug in the Spinners lead singer and it sounded like some of their late 70's songs.
