Hi Kalisa.. Its a life..*s* Just got out of it for a little bit.. I used to hang in outerworlds for a few years,well ummm more like 5 or 6 yrs LOL, and before that activeworlds, everynight and even almost got fired from my RL job for not making it into work for staying in OW all night.. .I was a "greeter" and a VR DJ.. also planned the 2000 Road Trip for OW. It got to a point where I would beg them to boot me out, cuz I just couldnt click that X.. But I stopped it ..cold.. for a couple of years, was fun.. but soooo addictive!!! and now im in here. We would make our own commercials and one that I did for another VR DJ.. went something like " Boot Me Trish, why dont ya girl.. I got things to dooo.".. etc.. hah I wonder is they still use it
Anyway.. feels pretty good to get these fingers speeding away again.. Just hope I dont pass out and get a KB Facial!!! Wanna help us look for this?

No, you and McR seem to be hot on the trail , it isn't being released until August so I'm sure you guys will find it or Tempfan will return and leave us a trail of crumbs to follow to get it for ourselves . Kalisa.. nope not role playing.. but it is a 3D world where your avatar is an actual being that can make it run, walk, dance. jump.. they also hahad and still have their online radio station ( volunteer positions.. no pay) called wvrr.com.. I used winamp to hear it.. but since I stopped Djing on it.. Im not sure if they upgraded to be able to get it on other players. VR DJ- Virtual Reality DJ.. where you are accepted into being one of their online DJs.. you have tons of MP3's and a mic for you PC.. and its kind of close to real DJing. like a REAL radio station.. only for commericals you can either make your own or ask some of the ppl listening to email you some sound recordings of them making commericials.. one my favorites were SPlitting Rock beer.. two buds in there.. SPlitenz and Rocketchild.. they got together.. and did.. was funny.. lots of other things also like web cam hookups so that you could see the DJ, liten to the music.. being in that community.. making your avatar do things.. while carrying on an edless stream of chat...
KB Facial: when youve been on the PC so much that you fall alseep and you wake up to your head resting on your KeyBoard.. with they keys imprinted on your forehead cuz ya fell alseep while typing.. like.. hot steam in a pan kind of facial.. but only the Key Board.. hope thats a clearer picture of what I was trying to say.

You can be a tourist ( guest) there for free.. but to become a citizen in there.. I think its like 30.00 a year..you get alot of options with it.. you can build things.. do file transfers.. etc..I know these two guys who live in Vegas..(musicians/singers.. etc) they go by the name of Tranthum and Rocketchild in there.. They play at a few of the casinos.. They have built a Rock and ROll school..Roc is really Tommy Cameron and Tranth is really John Norman Kaye.. his grandfather was Johnny Ukelele.. and his aunt is Mary Kaye of the Mary Kaye Trio.. anyway..they also have some of their own records on mp3.com When they were together they went under the name of Turning Point They built quite the Rock and Roll University.. something like that.. was pretty cool to look at ( of course not in Real Life.. just in that outerworlds community.it is G rated or is it PG now.. I dont know. eek. im getting on roll here.. Ill shut up... this really isnt the place to talk about another community.. not trying to pitch it to ya or nothin. But this is a TEMPTS community and I feel a little funny talking about another chat program.. so maybe some other time well talk more about it. *S*

I have the video of "Standing on the Top", it's included in the "Tempts & Tops" video. But I'd love to have it on DVD. I think since Barry signed over the rest of his rights to the vault, a lot of things will be rolling out of the shadows. I have ATPTB, MG & TWYDTTYD as ring tones on my phone. I want DVD's of the C5 & HOF5. I'm going to attempt to copy my videos to DVD. Thanks for the news

This is a good start. I'm happy in a way that motown is finally releasing this dvd. I've been asking for this for a long time. Judging from the price, I don't think there's going to be many videos in the dvd. Maybe five or six at the most. There's so much footage on the group out there. I was hoping they would put together a past/present/future type of dvd like I've always said on this board. I have a lot of footage on them myself thanks to ebay. The next dvd motown needs to put out is "TCB". This video is a must see by every tempts fan. The performances of the group is amazing. Motown seems to have a good relationship with NBC, perhaps they can strike a deal with them to release this on dvd. I remember the original broadcast and was looking for this tape for 30 years. I was lucky enough to get a copy from ebay. I'm going to transfer this as well as the other footage on the group to dvd myself. This footage is the tempts in there prime. Still this is a good start for motown to release this on them. Now they've got to push the legacy cd. Perhaps they will now that Kedar Massenberg has stepped down. I hope Sylvia Rhone does accept the position she has a much better track record. However this dvd should make most tempts fans happy. I can't wait to buy it when it comes out.

This is a good start!  I was also hoping for the footage of Paul doing his thing on Don't Look Back and the Hollywood Palace performance that I gave Otis...I would love to see and have all those old performances on DVD - but this is a good start. Maybe they are waiting to see how this sells. |

there's only 5 videos on the DVD? what about "soul to soul", "some enchanted evening" or "how could he hurt you"?
i think they should fill the dvd out with some live performances and interviews.....don't you think so? Temptations forever
