Ok, in the photo, starting from the top going counter-clockwise.............. not a Temptation, and then to his left, not a Temptation, just below him, not a Temptation and to his right, not a Temptation, then in the center you have Glen Leonard, a Temptation. Hope that clears everything up.  |

I wonder if they are the group tdallasw referred to hearing on the radio. Glenn Leonard was in town with a group called "Former Lead Singers of the Temptations." In the conversation Glenn had with a DJ on the radio that Tdallasw heard, she said Glenn said the only actual former lead singer in the group was him. I have no idea why the plural "s" is added to "Singer" making it "singers." Deliberate misleading?

well, at one time, Glen and Damon were doing some shows together. Maybe that's where it came from? |

It came from when Ali and Glenn performed togetrher in Las Vegas under that title. I beleive this group was the group Damon had for a while and now Glenn is in his place again. I'm pretty sure that's why it's called former leads of the Temptations.

Yeah, the only thing about Damon (yep folks, I'm now arguing with MYSELF!) is that he's always made a point ........... hang on .............. "Don't Look Any Further" is on and I gotta dance........... ................. ok, anyway, Damon's always made a point of NOT calling his group anything that had to do with the Temptations, I think they were called "The Next Movement" or something like that. He got into it with a promoter one time because the promoter announced his group as "The Temptations." Plus, I don't recognize those guys as the guys I've seen before in his group. So yeah, I'm pretty much talking in circles here. |
