We actually asked if Otis had ever considered going solo...not specifically now, but ever.
Designer Magazine actually tries to give a general overview of a band in interviews such as this purely down to the fact that we cover such a wide range of music. Many of our readers would not have know a simple fact about the Temps so for them it would have gave them a great intro of which they could have explore further if they wished to.

... And this is why Otis's group has no trouble filling large venues, while the only living "Voice" (Dennis) can't quite say the same thing? Like Radio City? Where they are second on the bill...and people REALLY come to see the O'jays & The Whispers? Is that what you are trying to tell me,darling? :yourock: Don't give O credit where it's NOT due as you did in this case. :nono I know that you really know better.

That reminds me of a little song, Mike..... One has my name, the other has my heart! With one I'll remain, that's how my heartaches start One has brown eyes, the other's eyes are blue To one I am tied, to the other I am true!! Peach

In order to do that...you have to know...yourself. I know that you are true...Review fan! You see the difference....and that helps you enjoy Otis' crew......I take them for what their worth...that's why I want them to do more of their current stuff..but some people just don't get it. They try to twist my words around for their own SELFISH REASONS...and I can deal with them...WINTER..SPRING..SUMMER..& FALL! temptsinfo.com/smilies/wtg.gif

More of thier new stuff would be nice. I don't know how the crowd would recieve it. But if the crowd enjors good music they really should let the Tempts work that new stuff in and then work it out. They (if they like music like me) would die over the new stuff.

Hate to tell you this Hype, but fifty and sixty year old white folks don't typically get into modern R&B.

but 50 and 60 year old white folk aren't the only people who go to thier concertrs. there is the young section. and you'd be surprised by the 50 and 60 year old white people who love a mature brand of R & B contemporary or classic.

{Peach} What is the name of that song and who is the artist? I missed your question Meme!!! Sorry!!! It's a country sounding song that I think has been done by quite a few people. Jimmy Wakely did it, Hank Locklin (this is the one I'm familiar with), as well as Jerry Lee Lewis, Willie Nelson, and Nat King Cole! Peach

How about almost 36 year old white folks. Like I said, I surprised *myself* in how much I liked their newer songs. Just don't make me listen to any Obie Trice or R. Kelly. Peach
