Temptations' Cancel Concerts to Tape TV Show

The Temptations concert scheduled for March 28 at The Victory has been canceled.

"The Temptations' schedule has changed; they will be taping a TV show, so several concert dates had to be canceled," said Mick Conati, assistant general manager of SMG-Evansville.

"Ticket sales for the show were fine; they were selling well, and the promoter wants to bring them here. "But I'm not sure when it will be, because they're not slated to be in the Midwest any time soon."

Anyone who purchased tickets can get refunds at the place of purchase. Tickets purchased online or by phone will be refunded by contacting www.ticketmaster.com online or by calling Ticketmaster at 423-7222.

Any questions or problems should be addressed to the box office at Roberts Stadium in person or by phone at 476-1383, Ext. 25.

Thank you. I thought there must be some sort of conflict for them to cancel three concerts.

The other article mentioned they would be recording a new album in May, which explains the fewer concerts scheduled in May. I wondered where they were going to be.

Hey (((Jonel))))! Thanks so much for that article. I was going to the Saginaw concert that Saturday, and that one got cancelled, so I was thinking well, I'll look into the Evansville one, and then that one was cancelled, but then it was on again, and I ordered a ticket on March 14, and to my surprised had gotten a first row, and but then when I got home and went to the page, it was cancelled again. My credit card is being credited. I did find out while ticketmaster will give you a refund the processing fee isn't refundable, so I guess they say they going to get something out of the deal. TTYL!
