March 13, 2003, Press of Atlantic City ....Officials with the Wildwoods Convention Center heralded a March 11 performance by the Harlem Globetrotters as another sign of the center's growing schedule. The event reportedly drew 3,656 people and 1,323 of those tickets were sold on the day of the event. "That's almost as many (tickets sold in one day) as were sold for the Temptations, and we were selling those for weeks," said John Lynch, head of the center's sales and marketing. The Legendary Voices of the Temptations sold a total of 1,289 tickets. www.pressofatlanticcity.com/news/cape/031303BUZZCOLUMNM13.html
