Sure sounds like Paul to me .................. sounds like he's saying "Brian ..................." but who in the heck is Brian?

Ok, if it's Brian, it wounds like he might be saying "Hey Brian you can play it back now"... Brian Holland is the only Brian I can think of at Motown at the moment, but who knows who was at the control board... It's Paul for sure!! Sounds also like a "hey Brad...." |

I agree with the "Hey," but it also sounds like "Ben" coming after it.
And it does sound like Paul. But the songs on that album were put together for the Funk Brothers SITSOM album and several of the songs have people calling out so it could just be another example of the calling out. For one song someone says, "Funk Brothers in the House." "Funk Brothers in the House."

100% sure that is paul ... Paul-inites love his accent, A lil thicker then everyone elses ... And after listening to it about 25 times ... "HEY BERRY, PLAY IT BACK NOW S" ... Sounds to me to be it ;D OR "HEY BERRY LETS DO IT BACK NOW S" If you listen at the VERY END that "S" ss ... Like he is about to say "SEE" Something like "HEY BERRY LET'S PLAY IT BACK NOW, SEE HOW IT SOUNDS  ) |
