sorry you are still down with the crud ,ive. at least it hasn't affected your wit, charm, intelligence and grace.
i hope you feel better- and no, liquifying krispy kremes won't have the same curative effect as homemade chicken soup! ;D
tdallas, kim, kalisa, aba, i appreciate your fine comments. i know otis is trying to keep a legacy going with these fine singers. they do dress the part and they do dance it too. but don't down me folks for wanting to hear dennis! paul mccartney sold out every show -and none of the other beatles were in it. i would like to hear dennis' review.
did ruff, dennis and corn use david sea in their shows back in the early 90's? where did they find him and was he supposed to be a temptation? obviously dennis must think he's talented .
i will see otis' group again. if he comes down this way or if we ever hook up in vegas or new orleans.

Not downing you for wanting to hear Dennis' group, my friend. Dennis is a wonderful singer and I'd love to hear him in concert myself. My comments were just that we shouldn't go to see Otis' group expecting to hear the ghosts of the Classic 5 or Dennis. It just ain't gonna happen! I don't want to compare groups - there is no equal any way you look at it. We can all just appreciate the great talent of each man who has been priviledged to call himself a Temptation... Forever.

Kim baby, I don't remember "Rainy Night In Georgia" being a Temptation song,"God Bless America" and "Naturally" either ! The Review sings that AND the CLASSICS,quite well too! They also do "Lady Soul",is that a Tempt song ? ;D I agree that none are as good as the HOF6,and if I had to choose,I would pick The HOF 6 10 days a week, four times on Sunday ! I just don't like people thinking that you can get five guys out there and sing Temptations songs and I'll be happy . It doesn't work for me . And Otis thinks that way. I've seen too many shows, listened to too many recordings to have that way of thinking work for me . I take it as an insult. You can't fool me !

you mean mike , i and you agree?
tdalgalpal, i never expect to hear david or eddie. but the only problem i have is when the new guys change the sound of the song. when bo sang ain't too proud, he sounded like he was singing a different song altogether. when dennis sang it on motown 25 ,it surely wasn't david , but it was sung properly and sounded great.
i like treat her like a lady, lady soul, awesome, swept away, elevator eyes, stay, 4 days, but they're new songs and they can be sung anyway the new guys want to. just treat the my girl and ain't too proud with respect!

you get no argument from me on that one sukkafu - Bo gets a little too carried away on some of the Classics. He needs a reminder of the K.I.S.S rule. I think Ron and Terry do a fine job on the Classic songs that they sing lead on. Ron has earned every bit of his status as a Tempt after 20 years. He is a great singer.

Sure do baby and you know why ?................Well I'll tell you,it's because they have a singer that was responsible for the rave reviews that The Temptations got in their heyday, made some "classic songs" and is a multiple grammy winner. And NOT just being in the background, either . His name is Dennis Edwards . Eddie Kendrick and David Ruffin were once a part of that group. I was going too see them then. That's how I met David Sea. The Review keeps it real ! ;D

Well Dennis is still singing with guys who had nothing to do with putting The Temptations together so what's the difference? Oh that's right OTIS isn't in the group my bad! LOL!!!!

Didn't we just say we could appreciate each group for what they bring to the table. If the questions is asked again what should Otis do quit, you are still going to get the same answers. Why is he being blamed for what he is, a background singer? Do you think either group would be in business long if all they sang was their "own songs"? Then who gets the right to sing the classics? Never mind, we've been down this street too many times for me. Suk you saw 3 1/2 Temptations and you can make a determination on what kind of show they give every night. That's ridiculous! I'm done!

well, i am sorry aba that it was my fault that i picked the wrong show to go to! i also have endless amounts of time and cash to spend following them around like a detective until they get it right! my bad! i did appreciate the fact that at least they did try to put on a good show. otis did say to the crowd that night- yes folks there are 5 tempts in the group. he also said, no , i am not too old to dance! i just had an operation and harry is recovering from a serious illness. i enjoyed the show. i will go to see them again. i am not a hater . i do like all the guys. but stay true to the style of the original classics and freak out your new stuff if you want! if i pay you to sing ain't too proud to beg- idon't want to hear ''paint your brown cow red''!!!!! ;D

HA HA HA!!! Sukka I just think that's just Bo's way. Ali used to add a little sumthin sumthin to most of the classics too.

Kim,by your logic Otis is in the same boat !LOL Dennis has the edge because more members of his group sang with Ruffin& Kendricks than in Otis's group! ;D

Can I get a witness? Let the church say, "AMEN"
Now, for our closing song, please turn in your hymn books to number 345, "When We All Get To Heaven," will sing the first and the last verse and then Bro. Sukkafu will have our closing prayer. Thanks for the coffee and honey and the crepe looking thing Jonel! ;-) did ruff, dennis and corn use david sea in their shows back in the early 90's? where did they find him and was he supposed to be a temptation?
Yes, I don't know and sort of. .................. But I'll let DSF elaborate on that one. we shouldn't go to see Otis' group expecting to hear the ghosts of the Classic 5 or Dennis. I agree. And conversley, we shouldn't go to a Review show and expect to hear Bo and Terry. Which is why it would be perfectly FINE with me if the Reivew sang "Don't Look Any Further" INSTEAD of "Stay." (I know Kalisa, they only sing 3.5 seconds of the song. ) I just don't like people thinking that you can get five guys out there and sing Temptations songs and I'll be happy ......... And Otis thinks that way. You mean kinda like the way he picked Dennis? ;D .......... I just LOVE arguing with you Mikey. but the only problem i have is when the new guys change the sound of the song. Kinda like what Dennis did with "Losing You" on TCB? ;D .......... I challenge ANYONE to even be able to remember Ruffin's first name immediately after watching that performance! Mike apparently you are happy with five guys getting together and singing Temptations songs you like The Review don't you? Ivory runs to the bathroom to wash her germy little hands and then runs back over to Kim and high fives her! But Kim, your nurse looks SOOO scary! Dennis has the edge because more members of his group sang with Ruffin& Kendricks than in Otis's group! See Mike, even you subscribe to my "3 Tempt Rule."

And now another hymn from our choir. The words are easy to learn and you sing it to the tune of Amazing Grace
WE WILL SEE WE WILL SEE WE WILL SEE WE WILL SEE WE WILL SEE WE WILL SEE WE WILL SEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.........
Amen!

Ivory, sugarpuddin,My 3 Tempt rule SINGS ! Dennis saved Otis's butt,if not then Otis would have to do David's part ! (Mike just woke up his house with laughter so loud you can hear him in Houston, and Tennessee)And if THAT happened,we would not have this board today! Ivory I know that you love to argue with me. ;D How else would you get thru the night ? (Mike picked Ivory and Kim up from the floor, they missed each other with that sloppy high five. Think they learned their lesson by now ?) No, but I'll keep teaching them ! I love em' too much to watch them go on the wrong path that they started . ;D
