So mine is definately the young gospel singer Jessica Greene!!! I love how soulful she is and how her music has depth and is inspirational!! She sings with passion and at the same time sends a positive message!!! If you havent heard her music you can listen to it at www.berean.com , but when I first heard her music at my work UGMD I was sooo impressed. I even heard that she has an album "4 The World" coming out Sep 25. So do yall like her music!?!?!

Hmmm.... my choices would be Florence Ballard and Etta James. So soulful and emotional!

I would have to say Mary Wells, Billie Holiday, and then Etta James

My favorites are Gladys Knight, Etta James, Janis Joplin, Millie Jackson, and Dorothy Moore. Of the younger ones, I'd probably pick Mary J. Blige.
