Diana Ross on American Idol

Hello Everyone hope you all are well.. .
My question is this... ah hem... Last night when contestant Phil Stacey met with Diana Ross he chose to sing "I'm Gonna Make You Love Me" she said that was a special tune to her blah blah something like that... but that she recorded it with Marvin Gaye.. I was confused. The only version I am aware of was with Eddie. But since 50,11 people/groups recorded each others stuff back then at Motown.... was her and Eddie after her and Marvin...or is she just wrong and got her gorgeous mens mixed up and what not. If she did get it wrong I distinctly heard EJK "roll over" last night.

I didn't see the show but I don't remember Diana and Marvin doin' "I'm Gonna Make You Love Me" at all. .....................They did do a tune "My Mistake" and I'm almost sure this is another one of Ms. Ross'. Hope it wasn't on purpose.......hmmmmm???

Hopefully "The Boss" didn't do that on purpose. I caught the episode as well, but I didn't quite catch that particular part. I'm a big Eddie K. fan and has lots of respect for his music. In fact, he's my favorite Tempt.
