Chris and Mandeesa were my favorites. Since she is gone, Chris is my American Idol, and not because he is from here. Glad Ace is gone too. He reminded me too much of Constantine from the last show. Shut up Beej! No Constantine jokes!

Oh I am also glad Ace is gone...although I rather liked Constantine much better. Ace is a cheap immitation(sp). I liked Mandisa as well but when it came to singing and not belting out Im every woman (which was great) Do you understand what I am trying to say....It was then I knew her days were numbered. My Pick is Elliot and I do like Kathrine but I have a feeling Chris will go all the way...

Hey, Boo-Boo... Funny, I had flashbacks of Constantine every time Ace looked into the camera with that idiotic "you adore me" stare, too. Who in the smelly hell kept voting for these guys? They should have their phone privileges taken away! It can't be just dippy teen-aged girls all the time, can it? The two I think should make it to the finals on pure ability are Paris and Chris. There are singers and then there are people who get up on stage and sing. IMO, those two could be recording and touring right now. Unfortunately, Paris' youth and song choices aren't helping her. She should've never been in the bottom three with the likes of Bucky or Ace. NO ONE should ever be grouped with Bucky or Ace. That's just wrong! She's got entirely too much natural talent not to go pro someday...even if she comes up short in this particular contest. Katharine and Taylor are a step below them. Neither appears to have the ability to hit every note with power, confidence and passion like the other two. Elliot's popular with the fans, but I find his voice slightly annoying. Either he or Katharine would be the next to go if it were up to me... but it isn't.

They should have their phone privileges taken away! Me too B~ I am glad he isn't there anymore. I think Ace and Constantine should hook up and go on tour together. They make a lovely couple. Not feeling you on the "Paris" thing. She was my favorite in the beginning of the competition, but my least fav now. Chris is my favorite, followed by Mr. Ray Charles-Taylor, followed by Eilliot, followed by Katherine. They all will have a great career just as long as they don't punk out like Ruben did, and he was my favorite. Go figure.

"Not feeling you on the 'Paris' thing."That's because she hasn't sung any Steppenwolf, yet. Katharine MUST go home tomorrow...she's the female equivalent of Ace! Chris and Paris need to stop picking songs they like and start picking those which best showcase their vocal talents. No one is seizing the opportunity to put this contest away. While there have been a few memorable performances, all of them have bombed at least once in recent weeks. It's still a popularity contest to a certain degree, so anything's possible. At least, they're all still better than Paula ever was...

HA- You got me on the Steppenwolf. But I like them, so sue me! Katherine I think is good, with the exception of her last performance last night. In the words of Simon-"It reminded me of" an adult rated performace. Taylor though was the bomb last night, IMO! GO TAYLOR! Elliot on th eother hand bombed last night, big time. Poor thing. Chris basically does the same song every week. The Same Old Song! And Pairs who? Thats all we need is another Fantasia. Not feel'n it.

Bite your tongue, missy! The only thing Paris and Fantasia have in common is skintone. This girl can flat out sang...still the best natural talent on the show this season or any other season I've watched. It's not surprising at all that she got sent packing, though. She hasn't received anywhere near the support the others have enjoyed week in and week out. I don't know if it's her age or her family connection or what, but her fanbase never really grew. Maybe, it's because she brings a certain "Beyonce" vibe to her performances and a lot of people -- like me -- are genuinely sick of all things Beyonce-related. I don't know. It's just confirmation to me that this is still a competition based on popularity rather than true ability. The most telling clip was at the end when all the professionals -- from Stevie Wonder to Barry Manilow to Rod Stewart to Roger Taylor and Brian May of Queen -- had the same reaction to Paris' vocals... "WOW!!! Incredible!!! Outstanding!!! Amazing!!!"No one else garnered as much praise from the pros...not even Chris. Katharine is surviving on the age 22-35 male/bi-sexual female vote, but it will end soon. IT MUST! Elliott has the female sympathy vote. Chris has real talent, but -- like you said -- he brings the same bag of tricks week after week. Taylor comes across as genuine and his goofiness appeals to people of all ages. It would appear to be Chris' competition to lose now, but all of them have faithful fanbases at this point. Anybody -- even he -- could go home at anytime. Did I ever mention that Simon's opinion is the only one I actually respect? I'd like to throw a brick through the TV every time Randy starts off a sentence with, "Yo, check this out, dawg...I thought it was pitchy in places, but...." I know as sure as I'm sitting here that there's a college drinking game based solely on the words that come out of his mouth. Paula. You'd get better advice by going downtown and knocking on the cardboard box of the first inebriated homeless person you find.

HA- Good one Beej. And there are many people that agree with what you said about Simon. He is the only one that speaks the truth, no matter how much he likes or dislikes someone. There have been a few instances where I didn't agree with what he said, but for the most part he is honest. I like Randy! The dawg pound too! Sorry but I'm glad Paris is gone. I'm pretty sure Elliot will go next, unless he does an outstanding job next week. That seems to be how people are voting, by their most recent performance instead of overall. GO TAYLOR!!!!

I agree. Paris is the most seasoned veteran singer of any minor who's ever been on the show - maybe any teenager. Fantasia was the best raw talent. They're not even close to being the same style/type of singer. Whoever said " That's all we need, another Fantasia." doesn't know they're talking about in that instance. Even if we got another Fantasia, it would be better than another dim-witted a$$ Kelli Pickler, who's probably not even 'functionally illiterate'. Fantasia and Kerry Underwood were 2 of the contestants who you could tell from the beginning that they were going to get to the finals and maybe have a chance at winning it.
