;D I hereby simply refuse to dissect the movie, the book, or any past or present Temptation, on the grounds that its just nonsense to dissect the legendary Temptations. Yes.. I vow to continue on with my knowing/thinking that they are the best, most wonderful group out there EVER, and to continue to cherish the moments, the memories they gave me while grwoing up.along with any future memories I may have. And I will continue to keep their music alive in my lifetime and in anyones lifetime that wants to know more about them, (and even if the person doesnt want to know about the Temps) what they have accomplished, their wonderful music, their heart, their presence, and the joy they have/are giving the world. And I also vow to to do my best to make at least once concert a year and coninue on getting all their past/present/future music, videos, DVDs, CD's old albums.. 45's if they can be found....and even pictures!etc...

From what she said I gathered that she meant by dissecting, just to break down everything, taking it all and tearing it into little pieces and critisizing every little script error, the casting, make-up. etc. And I vow not to do that as well. I vow to keep an OPEN mind and realize that it is a MOVIE...

LOL!! hahahah now Kalisa.. I didnt say I wasnt gonna READ all the info and thoughts people have on them.. *s*... Im just not gonna get into dissin them.. Most of the time I enjoy reading what other peoples thoughts are.. be it the same as mine or not.. as long as its INFO and not disrespecting meanly.. and I will stick up for ANY of them if someones dissin them.. but no one will hear me talking bad about any of them ...I feel they are people, (who happen to be in the public eye and out there for all the talk that anyone wants to say about them, true or not) everyone makes mistakes (or MADE mistakes-(for those perfectionists out there who no longer make any mistakes on their job), they have their own job to do and that job happens to also make me happy.. sooo..not a prob with me what anyone wants to do.. (I will read tho....*s* ;D)

...and I hereby vow to stop saying that "it's only a movie", "'Executive Producer' is a vanity title", and "screenwriters dramatize". I also vow not to pay a lot for this muffler.
Tah...

since you must have the last word....I'll just roll my eyes...and turn up my Tempts CD Don't be too hard on Inge, Weaky. There's something you don't know. Many years ago, she was given the opportunity to join the Tempts as the first lady of the Temptations. Anyway, the story goes that she went in to audition for Otis. When she got there, he asked her to pick one number to sing, one to dance to, and one to sing and dance to. However, her choices left a little to be desired. She chose to sing Morris Albert's "Feelings" ("FEEEEE-LIIIINS...WHOA WHOA WHOA FEEEEE-LIIIINS"). She chose to dance to "Disco Duck" by Rick Dees and his Cast Of Idiots. For her singing/dancing audition, she chose "Your Cheartin' Heart" as performed by Joey Bishop. Clearly, not the greatest choices. Long story short, when she finished her three songs, Otis broke into uncontrollable laughter. Humiliated, Inge ran out of the rehearsal studio. It was only after years of counseling that Inge has been able to reconcile all that happened during that fateful audition and return to a normal life. Now, when Otis' name is mentioned, she flashes back to those horrible events and, well, you get the picture. I just thought you should know all that she's been through so you might go easy on her. Ed
