duh, yes he was all that bad! he could sing a little, but that does not mean that he did not hit on tina! somebody needs to beat him like he beat her. i personally dont need anyone other than my parents beating me. Tina was a grown woman not a child. love is not supposed to hurt! Physical abuse is a deep subject. It's wrong! I wonder from the movie was the coke the real DEMON.

I'm with you there, Doctor T. Any drug can make you do things that you would otherwise shun the idea of. At the same time, though, Ike has not publicly been remorseful about his actions and he's sober now as far as we know. He's in control of what he does now and he chooses not to make it right. That's a shame...

I saw Ike do a short TV interview awhile back - He said that he had done so much cocaine - he had a hole in his nose the size of a pencil head! WOW!

Ike Turner doesn't give a heck about what he did. He's from the old-school, he's going to laugh and sluff off any disaster he wreaked, I bet he's practically remorse proof.

That's a shame... Ed Ed, The down side to alcohol and/or drugs is that it's merely a symptom of a deeper-rooted disease or illness. More times than not, it only enables one to get around to doing something sooner that he would have eventually gotten around to doing without the boost from the booze or drug. And that he's showing no remorse.....if true, he's not realy sober, since part of the recovery process is making amends to those who've been injured by one's actions.

Ain't that the truth, Joe. Alcohol and other similar substances just loosen one's inhibitions. The seeds for that behavior kinda already have to be there. I also agree that he may not be in recovery yet (which is just mind-bending). Either that or he's just putting on a tough face publicly. Either one is totally backwards...
