Mike was a killing machine Doc T Doc, I have to disagree, I think that the first and second movie were the best the third one, too me, was a letdown. All that said, the Godfather trilogy is one of, if not the very best, movies around  |

I'm the same way...I've never seen the Godfather movies, and I don't see myself actually sitting down and watching them in the future...not that they're bad movies or anything though. I'm like that about Star-Wars too |

I love the "Godfather" movies...I think the first was the best, though. I must admit, I'm a sucker for mafia movies.  I hate chick flicks. I just find them unrealistic and just plain sappy. Give me the mob anyday... |

I'm not a big fan on Chick Flicks either, I agree- they're just plain and Sappy!!
I'm an avid fan of Action and Comedy.
Godfather- YES!!!
Dead Presidents-YES!!!
Sisterhood of the traveling pants- NO!!!!!!

First of all Sisterhood of the traveling pants is not a chick flick. Its a teeny bopper movie. I've never seen it and have no interest in watching it. Forrest Gump Titanic You've Got Mail Sleepless in Seattle French Kiss Independence Day Harold & Kumar go to Whitecastle Ray Sister Act both 1 and 2 Drumline Love and Basketball Erin Brockovich Pretty Woman Etc... Etc....  |

Hey,
I've never seen the Godfather movies either, though I actually really want to. I'm all into the mob!! No, not in it myslef, but movie wise! But I'm a sappy person too, for example I watch a soap opera(General Hospital). But on my soap, a main character(Sonny Corinthos) is head of the mob & a character named Jason Morgan is his right hand man. So I love my mafia guys. Then there's the movie Donnie Brasco which stars Johnny Depp & Al Pacino. Based on a true story & I LOVE it!!!! A while ago(don't remember what channel) there was a "Inside the mob" special & it was hosted by the real Joseph D. Pistone!! Johnny played him in Donnie Brasco by the way. But I didn't get to watch it cause I didn't have that channel. I love my chick flicks too though, teenybopper movies, horror, action, comedy, musicals, independent films, you name it I love it. EXCEPT Napoleon Dynamite!! That is the dumbest movie I've ever seen in my entire life & I've seen A LOT of movies!!!!

Actually, the first 2 Godfathers werre great and veryt believable. Godfather III seems to be a real farce in comparison to the first two. They ended Godfather III about the only way they could......Michael dying as a lonely, miserable man.

All that said, the Godfather trilogy is one of, if not the very best, movies around I HEAR YA....THE REASON THAT I LIKE THE THIRD ONE IS THE FACT THAT MICHEAL WAS DEALING WITH THE CHURCH....THE VATICAN. THERE IS A LOT OF DEEP ISSUES IN THE VATICAN. i ALWAYS SAW BITS AND PIECES....SO I WATCH THE ENTIRE MOVIE FOR THE FIRST TIME. TO ME IT WASN'T A LET DOWN....IT JUST MAKES YOU THINK OF WHAT ISSUES ARE BEHIND SOME ORGANIZED RELIGION DOC T |
