(((Classic))) Between the horses, and the Hotel I don’t get much chance to play anymore. LOL..Not to mention it’s a well known fact I don’t know a darn thing about Motown or for that matter Temps music unless either it’s Ruffin, Ali or David Sea music. Now that you’re posting some good southern Soul stuff from Stax, Hi and Malaco your speaking my language. From your last poll, I own albums with O.V. Wright singing Precious, Precious, and also Otis Clay. So are both of these covers of the original recording by Jackie Moore. 9. The Dark End of the Street: I have James Carr, and the Percy Sledge versions. James Carr getting credit in my mind as the original. 5. Tell it Like it Is: Percy Sledge, or for our Country music fans the cover by Freddie Fender. Warning: the following is OT: Do you ever talk to Linda or Joan anymore, if so, tell them Hello, and invite them to drop by and let us know then are still alive and well. Kalisa and I are going to visit Edy in October. Now if we could just get David Sea and those four guys who sing with him to book a show in Hawaii during our trip ;D
